In-House Branding
TMH Safety provides professional garment branding from our Klemzig facility, giving us direct control over the quality, consistency and scheduling of your decorated uniforms and workwear.
Our in-house services include professional embroidery and DTF printing. We can also manage approved badges and patches as part of your uniform program.
Embroidery
Embroidery provides a professional and durable finish for uniforms, workwear, jackets, polos, shirts, caps and other suitable products.
Common embroidery applications include:
- Business and company logos
- Employee names
- Department or role identification
- Club and organisation emblems
- Sleeve branding
- Front and rear garment branding
- Cap and headwear embroidery
Before a new logo can be embroidered, the artwork must be converted into a specialised embroidery file. This process is known as digitising.
Once the embroidery setup has been approved, we can retain the file for consistent use on future orders.
DTF Printing
Direct-to-film—or DTF—printing allows detailed and full-colour designs to be applied to many suitable garments.
DTF printing can be an effective option for:
- Detailed or multi-colour logos
- Designs containing gradients
- Large front or back prints
- Promotional garments
- T-shirts and hoodies
- Employee names and identification
- Smaller production quantities
- Designs that are unsuitable for embroidery
The most suitable branding method depends on the garment fabric, logo detail, required size, position and intended use.
Our team can assess the garment and artwork before recommending embroidery or DTF printing.
Badges and Patches
TMH Safety can manage approved badges and patches as part of your uniform program.
This can include:
- Woven and embroidered badges
- Department and role badges
- Name and identification patches
- Emergency and workplace-role badges
- Approved placement across different garments
- Repeat supply for new and replacement uniforms
Badge specifications and placement can be retained with your approved uniform details to help maintain consistency across future orders.
Names, Roles and Identification
Using embroidery or DTF printing, we can personalise garments with information such as:
- Employee names
- Job titles
- Departments
- Site identification
- Emergency roles
- First aid or fire warden identification
- Numbers and other individual details
Personalised garments can also be individually packed for distribution to employees as part of a managed uniform program.
Logo and Artwork Setup
Good-quality artwork helps us produce the best possible result.
Where available, please provide:
- Vector artwork such as AI, EPS or editable PDF files
- High-resolution PNG files with a transparent background
- Your approved brand colours
- A current brand style guide
- Details of the required logo size and position
Low-resolution images, screenshots and logos copied from websites may not be suitable for production. If the supplied artwork cannot be used, we will explain what is required before proceeding.
Embroidery and printed colours are matched as closely as practical using the available production process and materials. Exact reproduction can vary from what is displayed on a screen or produced by another printing method.
Branding Positions
Common garment branding positions include:
- Left or right chest
- Sleeves
- Upper back
- Full back
- Front of T-shirts and hoodies
- Trouser legs
- Cap fronts and sides
Not every logo position is suitable for every garment. Seams, pockets, zips, panels, reflective tape and garment construction can affect the available branding area.
We can help recommend a position and size that works with the garment and keeps branding consistent across the selected uniform range.
Samples and Approvals
For new logo setups or larger uniform programs, we can provide an approval process before full production begins.
Depending on the job, this may include:
- Artwork confirmation
- Embroidery sew-out
- Printed sample
- Garment sample
- Confirmation of logo size and position
- Approval of thread or print colours
Production begins once the required details and approvals have been confirmed.
Small Orders and Larger Programs
Our in-house production capability allows us to manage:
- Small uniform orders
- Staff starter packs

For larger projects, production and delivery can be staged by department, location or priority where appropriate.
